H10 (USA version) and mac....?
So... I impulsively bought this like-new H10 5gb off eBay. Nice machine!
Only problem is that my computer is a Mac G4 running OSx 10.3.9, and I failed to notice that the H10 is only supposed to work with Windows XP! It took me a while, but I figured out how to reset the player and restart in UMS mode. Good! The H10 then showed up as a drive on my Mac, and I could load the "Music" folder with mp3's. I now can use the H10, but only by accessing the files via the browser. The music database doesn't recognize anything on the drive. Tried refreshing the db several times, trashed the db (using the Mac) and refreshed again. No luck. Any suggestions? |

Your search link got me to EasyH10, of which I had been completely ignorant. Downloaded the Mac version, ran it, and now have a working music DB on my H10. Problem solved! THANK YOU!! Dan |
