I just got a used H10, and deleted everything that was on it, using Media Player. Now when I Sync music on it, on the bottom of the right screen it shows 0 bytes / 18.61 GB (5.87 GB free space)
I've just loaded 3 music albums on it amounting to less than 1 Gig! Where did all the space go? Any help on how to get my drive space back? |

You want the first one (iRiver Firmware Updater). I am assuming you have a 20gb one, which means it is MTP. Therefore, reinstalling the firmware (I think Recovery is the more full reformat option) will erase all data, and should give you the 18.whatever gb on the drive.

I got it!
I started the H10 by holding down the 'o" button then the power button. Then on the computer I right clicked on the player's Drive and selected Format. Then I dragged the System folder from the H10 Firmware window to the H10 and let H10 reboot. It was looking for Firmware, so I loaded the iriverFirmwareUpdate r and now I have a full 18 gigs. Thanks for your help |
