Help!
I have had my H10 for almost two years. Recently, I have been unable to sync new music to my device. Everytime I start a sync, I get an error message that says "I/O operation has failed because of thread error..." I have tried other computers and the same error message always comes up. Iriver tech support has been no help. They never reply to my emails. I did recieve a new H10 device, but I still have the same problem. I am using WMP version 10.00.00.3646 What should i do??? |

I am confused. Are you saying that with the NEW H10 you are getting this error on more than one computer? Gary |

Can you give me the EXACT text of the error message? Please describe the timeline as to what is going on. You had your original H10 and got this error. Then iRiver replaced the unit and what did you do next? Did the new one IMMEDIATELY give you this error. Were a few files sync'ed and THEN you got the error. Be as detailed as you can about the sequence of events. Gary |

I saw the first three words, but it seemed a bit odd that a update to a piece of software running on your PC would necessitate your having to reload the software running on your H10. I wanted to be sure I understood what you meant. Jeez, I wonder what the folks at Yahoo are doing that would screw up the firmware like that. What is REALLY odd is that continuing to use the Yahoo software doesn't corrupt the H10 firmaware again until another update cycle. Do you happen to know what the actual error message was?
