H10 20GB is messed up

Hey everyone.

I recently bought myself the H10 20GB as a replacement for my old iFP player that broke recently. Yesterday however, I was trying to head off to go somewhere when I realized that my H10 was on for some reason. It didn't phase me but then I realized, after putting the headphones on, that the music was horribly distorted.

It was as if someone screwed up the equalizer in every single way possible. The songs were so distorted I wanted to break a blunt object over someone's head.

Multiple resets failed to fix the problem and even a full reformat + reinstallation of firmware has not fixed it.

Is it possible that this is a hard drive problem?
It's still under warranty, so I think I'll probably send it back, I just want to hear some opinions first.

Cheers

Any ideas? I spent 2 hours yesterday trying to get a hold of customer service, but no one picked up.
