How do I get XP to recognize my player?!

Grrr. It's making me mad. Looking thru these threads didn't help much either. I attached the iRiver H10 20GB to my computer but the thingy just pops up and says I need a driver. So basically it doesn't recognize my iRiver. Before I went on a different computer, and I could just connect it and I would see it in "Removable Hardware" under My Computer. But now, I don't see anything. When I open my WMP10, it still isn't recognized. What the hell do I do?

OMG. grr. I did look in there, and I don't know what the hell to do. I see it in the device manager but it won't stop saying I need to have a driver or something!!

Before, I'd just be able to connect it, and I'd see it right away in My Computer, and now even WMP10 says it's not there.

Uninstall all of your USB controllers and reboot with the iRiver unplugged.

After a few minutes it should reinstall all of your USB drivers including prefs.

Plug your iRiver back in.

This might help.
