how do i install software for h10 20gb??

hello. alright, i'm sure this has been asked before because i found my question many times on some other site but wasn't able to find an answer. i've just signed up on here so sorry if i'm being retarded but here's my question.
my computer had a horrible virus so i had to reformat it... now it's up and running again and i'm able to charge my iriver still and all the songs from before are still there. but! now i try to install the program again using the 'easy start cd' because that's all i seem to have and it only wants to install windows media player. yeah, i already have that on my computer and have saved some new albums that i'd like to add to my iriver but how do i install the software?? is there a website to get it from? am i using the wrong cd?
next issue- assuming that i am able to get the software onto my computer, when i go to sync the songs, will my old songs that are still on the player be erased and only the new ones i've ripped after the reformatting be saved? please help!!

All that is on the CD is WMP. WHen you plug it in, assuming you have WMP 10 or 11, you will see the player.

And, instead of syncing, you can use Drag n Drop method via Windows Explorer.

Hey! I tried The Drag and Drop steps and it will not work.

EDIT: OK, Exactly just how does that work? I put the Cd in the CD Tray, Open and it immediatly states that I need the latest version of WMP, Ver 11... And I do not see anything else to run from the iRiver Cd that I did get with my player.

EDIT2:Hi! I just recently joined as well. I'm experiencing the same as you. I didn't have a virus, etc... thank goodness. With the help from other Members here on this WONDERFUL Webstie, Misticriver. For staters, I am going to do this, http://www.iriveramerica.com/support/mtpupdate/ When I turn on my player, H10/20GB I cannot get any of my music files. When I connect it to my pc, Music files do show and even one folder that I had created/named and I cannot even delete that folder off the player. In WMP it will not sync any new playlist either. I now have version Boot1.10 on it now. So this is what I am going to try first. Best success to you. If this works, I will post my results to you, OK?
