System Initializing eternally
If anyones got any advice for the following H10 6G problem I'd be grateful to hear.
First off all my music disappeared from the menu but through my PC I could see that it was still there. I thought I would update the firmware to see if that would fix it. But it didn't finalise properly and now I'm in a permanent state of System Initialising and the player not recognised when connected to PC. All buttons are frozen. I also get an EM 1.01 message when first switched on but I can't remember if that is supposed to be there. Anyone? |

I have the same problem, my H10 just won't stop initializing system.
since my computer won't reconsise that the H10 is plugged in, the solution has to come from the H10 itself. I think I'm going to end up sending it back. Got it from Amazon in October, do you think I should send it back to them or contact Iriver direct? |

Amazon have agreed to give me a full refund, so I'm taking it and getting a 30gb Phillips for £99, which is less that another 6gb h10 would have cost.
In case anyone gets this problem in the future I tried connecting it to the computer and pressing the start button with the O button pushed. This got me an "emergency connection" and I was able to see my H10 on the computer, although it was corrupted. I am guessing I would have been able to sort it this way, but Amazon has already offered me a refund so I didn't bother. |
