i love that UMS trick and the fact i can look at the contents via a file tree. Man, i do not like the way itunes and even the H10 makes me browse by artist etc etc. Maybe I'm a simpleton but i just wanna look at my files.

i like the way it isnt as common as an ipod! (hell, it isnt even showing up from amazon for a couple of days, thought id say anyway).

Well, it showed up yesterday!

I like the design, the colour (of the case and that the lcd is colour) and the cool touchpad thing, how easy it is to connect it to a windows xp pc, and the great sound quality. Oh, and the cool clicking noise it makes when you browse the menus. Haven't put it down since i got it!

I love that I can't seem to fill mine up! I also like the battery life... and I find the navigation pretty darn easy compared to my old iRiver!

I love the h10's voice recording and the smooth look it boasts. There's so much to be said about the beautiful sleek shell it offers. Go h10!

* Rugged yet sleek aluminium case.
* A vertical scroll bar to scroll a vertical list. (I couldn't see how a click wheel was "intuitative" )
* The blue-and-black case gives the impression of quality.
* SRS WOW and the 30 equaliser settings.
* FM and voice recorders.

I LOVE MY 20GB H10!
Well, that is after reading the every h10 threads. ^_^
the sound quality is awesome-- the reason why i bought it in the first place.
My friend even dropped it once (about 2meters), but it still kept on playing! amazing! it only acquired a few scratches. I really thought it was a gonner!
I really laughed my head off, when her ipod nano cracked when she 'accidentally' sat on it!
I LOVE MY IRIVER H10!

Easy to use
Can listen to music
Can listen to podcasts

All I ask from these things tbh. Everything else is just a bonus.

Best thing, hands down, about the iriver is that it $#!T$ all over ipods when it comes to sound quality. Customisable EQ and SRS WOW, it duznt get much better. The other greatest thing about my iriver is that its UMS. I cant see how any1 can enjoy an ipod wen the sound is dodgy, break so easy, and format themselves wen u use them on another PC. LOL

I love the voice recorder. Decent playback, useful for meetings and classes. It has saved my cookies several times.

And my music sounds great.

And I've had it for seven months ... without a hitch!

How there's always something new and interesting happening with it now thanks to Rockbox, rather than just going on about skinning the interface and telling people how to copy photos to it, now we can actually say "Hey wouldn't that feature be cool" and it has a better chance of becoming reality.

Examples:
- Video (Okay it was already in Rockbox but people said it would never happen on the H10!)
- Album Art (We were wanitng this on the H10 for quite a while... and now thanks to the many people who worked on the patches, it's now there! And free!)
- OGG Support (Having seen that iriver had the icons for OGG ready in the firmware, we have all wondered why it wasn't there. It can no longer be put down as "Hardware limitations" but "Laziness")
Much more but i can't be bothered.

8 hours a day!

It's rock solid. I've played it 8 hours a day since early 2006. Excellent sound quality and relatively cheap. It's been soaked in sweat many times and doesn't seem to mind. The UMS mod for pure drag and drop (no WMP) is cool as well.

I liked it for its size and sound quality. Its a definite improvement from the older iriver i have, for sure. I can't say i adore its switch off - standy mode but everything is about this machine is reliable and pretty easy to use!
