Is it possible to password protect H10?
Dear enthusiasts,
Here is a question for you. I have ordered my H10 (6GB, US version) but not received it yet. Do you know if there is a way to password protect the player? So that once powered up it prompts for a password and only then plays, allows to access pictures, etc. Thanks! |

Althought it doesn't if you have time on your hands you could make folders 1-9 then inside them folders 1-9 and again... so that you would need to know what folders to go to otherwise you'd be there for a while.

Thank you for your replies!
I think this could be a useful feature to have in an MP3 player... Here are possible examples of why: 1) You have some photos there that you would like to keep around but don't want your kids to see. 2) Somebody steals your player but cannot do anything with it because it is password protected. Ha-ha! You might even get it back because of it. 3) You have some music there that you don't want to be known of listening to and other people can borrow your player. Well, it's a stretch, but I've met enough weird people in my life. 4) Your voice recordings are of private nature. I am sure there might be many more reasons for having password protection is desirable. |
