Various Problems
Last week I turned on my H10 (6GB) to find that half of my songs on it wouldnt play or jammed half way through playing. I plugged my H10 into my PC cleared all the songs and was about to sync them back on when I thought I may aswell download some firmware for it as I hadnt got any firmware for it what so ever since I bought it. I went and downloaded the firmware and installer and at first it wouldnt find my device (I did follow the steps for how to do the emergency connect thing) and it either wouldnt find my player or it would say this doesnt support your utility (it was the right firmware). I gave up and synced everything back on but then when I turned my H10 back on it said system files missing. I cleared all my songs AGAIN and tryed installing the firmware AGAIN after ages I managed to get the firmware installed (it just needed to be done on an admin account). Stuck the H10 back in the computer started syncing got to 304 songs and it jammed, cleared AGAIN started syncing again jammed on 304 tryed another 1 or 2 times and thought maybe the song that it was jamming on was causing the problem so I deleted it, started syncing jammed on 304. I really do not know what to do with it now I ahve tried formatting, check disking, different firmwares and I am knida getting fed up with syncing, jamming, clearing, syncing, jamming etc..............Any ideas whats wrong with it?
My H10 is the MTP version and is the UK/EU version.

I had this and so have others as mentioned in a previous link. The only real cure is to reformat ya drive and yes you will lose everything! Use windows with your player in ums mode. Scootmad aka RoryW

ok, this isnt really a fix, just a way around it. try connecting the player in UMS mode, and then just dragging and dropping the music into the Music folder instead. you will then have to update the database with easyh10, which can be found in the link in my signature
