Firmware won't install on H10

I've searched and searched and haven't found the exact answer to my problem. When I run the H10 Firmware Updater I follow all the instructions. When I hold down the O button I never get the "UMS Mode" message. Then when I click OK on the Updater it says "Please reconnect your H10 to continue" and can't get past that. I've tried on two different computers.

Thank you very much for any help. I'm hoping this may help with the clicks between tracks.

Sounds like the problem is that you are not doing the "UMS" trick properly.

UMS trick....

Reset your player (the little hole at the top) with the likes of a paper clip, for the 5/6GB version take out the battery for 5 seconds to reset.

Attach your player to your PC by USB (player still off).

Hold in the "o" button and switch the player on.

Keep holding the "o" button until player says "emergency connection".

Your player is now in UMS mode and you should be able to transfer your music files or update your firmware.

Thank you! It's actually the O button on the front for the H10. I thought the O button was the On/Off button.

This solved the problem of the clicks between tracks. It doesn't handle playlists as well so I will have to look into that.
