Exclamation Iriver wont power up

hey girls and guys im abit of a newbie here but ok i seemed to have the same problem as most people with the "some system files missing" error, upon searching forums i found the post made by Ladies-Man about opening it up and moving the HD arm to the right, i think i did it right i moved the little arm that was visible through 3 little lines is that correct? and i replaced everything but it won't power up now?? i put the usb cable in and it just comes up with the no battery life message and shuts off?? if any one can help please tell me...

Regards Adam
