Please can someone help me with the iriver h10 bug,
i recently bought an iriver h10 5GB(US) and after trying to update the firmware on my player with the iriverFirmwareUpdate r manually (H10 5/6GB - Firmware V2.51), I wasn't able to turn the player on, even with the UMS trick it only shows a blank white screen, my PC (XP with WMP10) doesn't recognise it either I'm afraid the file system has crashed... ![]() this bug is very annoying, it would be very helpful if someone can let me know how to sort it. Thanks! P.S.: I know many of you have problems with firmware updates and recognizing the player but having read many threads I didn't find any similar failure as above... powered on (only works with USB cable and UMS trick together) but still NO menu or anything visible just blank white screen. Sorry for my bad English, I'm Hungarian |

Wow! that was quick
I'm affraid I can't RMA it because I got it over 90 days (it was refurbished before) and I'm not sure what to do with the player It won't power on norlmaly unless I plug it in and use UMS trick as I mentioned so reloading any other firmware doesn't seem to work either. |

If it is beyond hopelessly lost, you might try opening it up and putting a new hard-drive in there and then trying to manually install firmware (treating it as though you wiped the drive clean). Or donate it to Rockbox
