H10 5GB Playback Issues
Hey all,
I have a H10 5GB series and recently I have noticed that when I sync new music to my player there is a 50/50 chance it will stop immediately upon selection. Is anyone else having this problem? If so, does anyone have any recommendation a to how I can fix it. Thanks |

I went to the Iriver website and used their free firmware downloads. be careful which one you use though. apparently they're different depending on where you are in the world. Mine works fine now. Hope it works for you.

I had this problem too. I found that you dont have to use windows media player. You can make it work as a regular hard drive. To do this you turn off your H10 then connect the cords. After this you press the select and power buttons untill a message pops up on your screen. Then you can go into My computer and just drag and drop the files into the iRiver.

UMS trick....
Reset your player (the little hole at the top) with the likes of a paper clip. Attach your player to your PC by USB (player still off). Hold in the "o" button and switch the player on. Keep holding the "o" button until player says "emergency connection". Your player is now in UMS mode and you should be able to transfer your music files. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
