H10 6GB: Connection to Computer
Hi all,
my first post here, and unfortunately it is a problem: I bought a new H10 6GB, connected it with my computer and it showed up as IriverH10 and i was able to simply transfer files with the explorer. But I couldn't create playlists, so I started the WMP and just tried to synchronicise. Then I think my H10 passed away because the "cancel"-button didn't work any more. I made a reset by taking the battery and startet again, it worked, but since this point my computer doesn't recognise the player, neither the explorer nore the WMP. But the computer of a friend works fine with the player. What shall I do? Another question: I don't like WMP, I simply want the player to be recognised as a new external harddrive. Is there a firmware I can use without loosing warranty? Thanks in advance. Morten |

1) read Ted Yo's device enumeration thread
Device enumeration problems (but not what you think) 2) None without voiding your warranty, you just have to use the UMS trick and easyH10 (if you don't know what they are, search for them) Welcome to MR |
