Worth it ?

Okay, here's the problem.. some time ago I broke the LCD screen of my Iriver h10 5GB pure.First I've phoned Iriver and they told me it would cost me 25€ to fix it...I said to myself.. that's not bad and I sent it ASAP.Today, I've received an e-mail from them saying that it would cost me 75€ instead of 25€..What's your advice guys ? Should I pay that much for it ? Does it worth it ?

Not for that price. You could probably get a brand new one for a little more money. If you have written proof what they originally promised you I suggest you try to speak with a manager.

I don't have written proof ,they said that to me when I called them..It seems too much..75€ for an incredibly small screen .. There are DVD-players with 7" screens that cost little over 100€ .. :-s What a rip-off..

I think that's what I'll do..Just that after paying 220€ for the little thing, I would have expected a little more warranty coverage..I really don't think that the screen worths more than 20-30€ and that it doesn't take more than 10 minutes to change it.. but what's done it's done ..
