Advantages of cradle?
Hey guys,

I have had my H10 6gb for several months now, am v. happy with it and would like to accessorize it a bit.

The cradle seems to be avail. at cut prices (maybe because the series is being discontinued??). I am just not quite sure if it is worth it.

Is anyone here using it and would you recommend it? I must admit, the missing line-in connection on the player itself does annoy me from time to time. Apart from that being remedied, what else are the advantages of the cradle?

Charging 2 batteries at once

i personally do not have a charger

Eveything mentioned by devyanks90 and line out to hook up to home or portable stereo...when you use line out on cradle, put EQ on normal,it gives you a true raw signal.

Just curious where you saw the cut prices. I didn't see any discount when I checked the iriver site.

Thanks everyone for the info and tips. I will give it a go and get a cradle.

Danshe, I checked several European online shops, not the iriver website. The cradles now sell at about GBP 20-25 in the UK and around 30 Euros on the continent. They seem to be running out of stock, though...

Thanks. I have the 20g and after checking prices at ebay I ordered the one at iriver. Ebay is selling for over 2x the iriver store price.

I guess not (why would you ?).
IIRC there is the line-out jack on one side and the line-in on the other.

Hi, I ordered mine from amazon, but if you go to the google country sites and then run a search it should give you websites with price comparisons (the usual, really: dooyoo, ciao, kelkoo etc.). Where do you live?

Question about this thing. Would I have to remove the H10 from it's silicone case before I stick it in the cradle? I take it I do... :/
