Playlists

I'm trying to add playlists onto my H10 6GB and the player does not seem to recognize them...Do I need to use WMP to convert them somehow so that they will be recognized?

ok, well, the easiest way (for me), is to connect your player in UMS (unless it is already a UMS device), then open winamp or some kind of media player, then, add music directly from your h10 . ie, when you connect the h10, windows should give it a drive letter, say E:,
so add music from E:\Music\, and then save the playlist in E:\Playlists\ or something similar , and then update the data base with easyh10 (find it here )

It doesn't seem to be working for me...I can see the playlist on my computer when it's in UMS mode, but once I disconnect it I can't find it. I tried doing a database refresh and everything.
In Easyh10, do you guys chose H10UMS or H10MTP? I chose H10UMS, could that be the problem?

Iv never used EasyH10 as my player is already UMS, but im assuming you have the MTP version, so i would suggest you use H10MTP. Just a wild guess....

Select what version firmware you use (I use v2.10 MTP) You can find the firmware version at the bottom of the settings menu.

MTP - Media Transfer Protocol (Created by Microsoft for DRM purposes)
UMS - Universal Media Standard (acts like a USB flash drive, not sure about the "S")

So if I were to switch to UMS, odds are it would work or the PC I have that doesn't seem to recognize it for some reason? I have an older one (P3)that recognizes it and my step father hasa brand new one that recognizes it as well, but I have a PC that I built myself that is 3 years old that will only recognize it in the "emergency mode".
