case for 20g h10

I've been searching for a case for my 20g that shows the controls. I know the case that comes with it works fine if you press the controls but I want to see where they are.

So far I haven't find any for 20g. Vaja makes one for the smaller ones and mistic audio may have one for the 20g but this isn't definite.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

A few weeks ago I came across a thread posted by a guy who sand-papered his iRiver H10 down to give a brushed-steel/ mirror look - perhaps you could do that instead? Sorry I dont have the link anymore but I'm sure it'll show up if you search it.

Sweet. I picked up two H10 20gb's from the Office Depot deal for $10.49 each after rebates, and I'd really like to get an iSkin for them. I love the iSkin (and the screen protector) on my H120. And I need to get a replacement iSkin screen protector for my son's H120 anyway.

I had good luck cutting the original case with a very sharp box cutter knife. There are little ridges outlining where you cut. I also dyed it charcoal. Use navy blue Ritz dye to get charcoal. I think you can see the buttons in the picture I have attached here.

PS: It looks much better than the photo.

The original photograph was a few kilobytes to large so I had to edit it to a smaller photo. It took me a little while to figure out how to do this. Microsoft Paint is fairly complex you know.

I just compared the H20 to the Creative Zen Vision M (say that 10 times fast) and the unit are VERY similar in size, right down to the zize and position of the slider. I suspect a case for the Creative would fit the H20. Anybody tried this?

With all due respect, IMHO, that's a terrible idea. The Zen has a screen size of 2.5 inches compared to 1.8 inches for the iRiver H10 20 GB. So the screen cut out wouldn't fit. The Zen has rounded corners compared to the square corners of the iRiver. The Zen is 104 x 62 x 18.6 mm, while the iRiver is 102.3 x 61 x 21.7 mm. I would be completely amazed if the cut outs in the silicon case of the Zen matched the button configuration and the bottom input slot of the iRiver. Did your iRiver come with the standard white silicon case? You can see when you put it on that everything fits perfectly. You will not get that kind of fit with one made for another brand. If you don't like the color of the one that came with the iRiver dying it is quick, easy, and foolproof. If you want to buy a third-party silicon case that exactly fits your iRiver H10 20 GB, you can spend ~$30 at http://www.zcover.com/zCover_Product...r_H10_Original. Be sure to check with zCover to make sure that this cover is available for the 20 GB H10. Otherwise, look here http://www.misticriver.net/wiki/index.php/Cases . There is also Google of course. Okay, I have this friend and she brought the Zen Vision M silicon cover for iRiver H10. She was kind enough to e-mail me a photograph of it so that you can see what it might look like. -- Gene

Iriver sells one that may be leather for $19.99. I don't want another silicon cover. Anyway I'm hoping that mistic audio will sell a good cover soon. I wish iriver had chosen a different case. I really like the one that came with my 320 and the one on my ifp is fine.

What exactly do you want? I am starting to dabble in leatherworking (for a variety of things, including leather bottles and mugs), and might be able to make one for you. I am thinking of making one for myself as well, so once I get it done, I will post pictures.
