Angry Case Scratched.. any help?

Hey there..

I was walking and some idiot ran right into me while he was being chased by the cops.. Good news, he was caught.. Bad news, I fell to the ground and so did my mp3 player.. It's so scratched up(front and back) and I wanted to know if theres anyway of me getting a case, or doing something to get it back to normal. No I dont have a case, I lost the case when I got the iRiver and their arn't any local shops that sell cases for my iRiver - everything is just for i-FRIKKEN-Pods. lol

Can anyone please help me.. and plz done flame me for not having a case..

I need all the help i can get.. if anyone can recommend anything let me know

Thanks MR community!

Try misticaudio (link at top of page). They are supposed to have cases in soon and also sell "applesauce" for scratches.

Love your avatar man.
As said already, misticaudio do them, and a couple other shops on the Internet.

thanks

hey..

these are decently deep scratches(1-2mm in). I have the money to buy a case, but not before i get this thing comsmetically fixed, lol. I'm a person that relys on good looks(yes, im shallow hal lol).. but if anyone has actual iRiver Cases(not the rubber see-through thing, but the actual casing of the iRiver. 1st or 3rd party. I looked @ eBay & Google and never found anything that could help..

Any further help would be awesome,

Thanks itsmeguys, pachinkoman, Molox, & Sanitarium.

UMS trick: connect the player while it's off to the USB cable, reset the player, while turning the player on - press OK button(O) 'till your cumputer "discovers" the USB MASS STORAGE DEVICE (UMS-D).... Now: in the top bar of the player's window press Tools---->Folder Options---->View(tab)---> View Hidden Files and Folders
Proper Icon for your H10 !

Depending on the depth of the scratches toothpaste and nail polish remover can help.

1. Remove the cover from the player.
2. Clean it throughly using soap, making sure to remove excess particles.
3. Using a clean brush (for fingernail painting etc) apply the nail polish remover.
4. Let dry.
5. With clean hands lightly smear toothpaste over the smaller cracks. You will need to rub in. (Note: this wont work with deeper scratches).

That will give you the smoothest appearance you can get. Optionally you can further,

6. Apply a spraypaint for car/outdoor.

Hope that helps.

the iriver manual says do not clean with soap, clean with a soft cloth. Damage to the player may be a result (yes, I still have the manual)

Hey guys.. Thanks for all the replies..MR community rocks!

Anyways, is there anyway for me to get an OTG case? What is it exactly. Because I need an Actual Case for my iRiver.. mhmm spray paint it eh?.. if i did spray paint it id like to get it the same colour as my cell (look up the Samsung 804SS [Vodafone] cell.. the orange one.. just google Samsung 804ss).. yeah that orange, and leave everything thats core-black black, but leave the "lounge grey" area that orange type colour..

mhmm, thanks
