Serious iRiver H10 trouble

Hi Guys,

I bought an iRiver H10 20GB player last December. The player had been mostly working fine up to this weekend, when the main up down track/volume controller stopped working. The player was not dropped or damaged in any way. It was simply powered off on Friday evening and powered back on the following morning. When you now switch on the player it either just constantly strolls up and down without me being able to stop it or is just doesn't stroll at all and stays positioned at the very top option in whatever menu you are in i.e. artists, settings etc. Very strange I know!!

Have any of you guys experienced this problem? Any suggestions?

Thanks
Aidan

I think your only option is to send it back to iriver for a replacement. This chap here had the same problem. They advised him to try resetting his player then updating the firmware. If that doesnt work then i think its an RMA job.
