Question fr harald & Erhard Fotografie
i was listening to my 20gig h10 this morning and i was scrolling under artist and fr harald & Erhard Fotografie was an artist. i dont have any cd by fr harald & Erhard Fotografie nor have i ever heard. when i click on fr harald & Erhard Fotografie its empty. and where it should say fr harald & Erhard Fotografie it says artist. if you click the back arrow it takes you to the screen that says artist, albums, genres, titles, and playlist. does anyone know how to fix this? does anyone understand what im trying to say? my friend has this problem to. thanks for anny comments.

Have you gone in via the Broswer path and navigated to that directory? That will show you files which are not usually shown when you go in via the Music path (like the jpg of the CD cover!).

so a music cover in a cd folder cause that? ill go through and delete the covers hope that fix it. it really bothers me.

i went through under mycomputer and delted every album cover and its still there. i think i will have to reformat it again. can you reformat to many times?

Delete the folders for any artists that you don't actually have songs for. That should help. Also, you can reformat a hard drive as many times as you want, but I believe it's not recommended, and really only for emergencies.

all my folders have music besides the folders that have pictures but they are in the picture folder. this problem happened before but it wasnt fr harald & Erhard Fotografie it was damage report or something like that. this started happening when i synced my iriver with my friends computer. but that was weeks ago.

Only thing I can think of besides reformatting HD is rebuilding the database using Easy H10. You'll just have to boot the thing into UMS mode, and use Easy H10, downloadable at http://easyh10.sf.net . Many members here use that and are very happy with it. Try it, maybe it'll solve all your problems

i once dowloaded easyh10 but its kinda confusing. ill try to figure it out though.
