Memory Problem
I seem to have lost about 100MB on my player. When I use the iriver software it tells me I have ~100MB left (and properties say the same) but I cant add anything more. What on earth is going on. Any advise?

Someone recommended me to defragment the player but I cant do that either. First I had a faulty voice file in the media section, which I managed to delete after a while. Then it discovered a faulty music file in the same section. Tried to sort that by reloading the album, didn't help, and by deleting it via iriver plus and manually. Any advice?

delete other songs that u dont like, or do a database refresh, or do a defrag (tell us why u cant do one).

How do you do a database refresh?

I can't do a defrag because I get an error message about a music file that I have deleted in the media section. The file has no size and cant be seen by the iriver plus software. If I delete it manually it just reappears.

As for the free memory that I cant use. Any more ideas?

to do a database refresh, start ur h10 up, go to settings, and then to extra settings, and then to database refresh.

I have nothing called database refresh under settings. the closes I come to that is reset all settings. Is that what you mean?

.Should probably mention that it is a european one and firmware v.2.51

it shouldn't, your player is UMS (it came with iRiver Plus)
there is no database refresh for UMS

try using EasyH10 or reloading the firmware

Gaaaa Now the lost memory has increased to 160 and I cant add anything.
