How to format H10?
The iriver used to work fine, but now it can't be used in the database mode (audio - top icon in menu) and instead will only play via using the file browser..
There is also a corrupt file in my media folder with can't be removed or deleted! I tried putting newer firmware but to no avail So is there a way to completely reset the iriver/format it and reinstall the firmware starting from scratch? Or should I send it back? thanks! |

First do the UMS trick then your h10 SHOULD show up as a harddrive, go into my computer then right click on the H10 (it will be renamed G or something) go down to format, about half way down. Click quick format then ok. Once this is done you will need to reinstall the firmware, you decide if you want the newest 2.51 or 2.10. This should help you.
