Upgrade problem

Ok, I have a H10/5gb iriver, bought in Australia, so Im not sure what version it actually is. I recently upgraded my firmware from 2.05 to 2.51. This has caused me all sorts of problems.
1. Iriver plus will not read what songs are actually on my player. So when I got to Iriver>All music, nothing is there.
2. When my player boots (after some waiting) all seems fine. But when I go to music and pick an artist, album etc.....there are no songs.
3. I tried downgrading like some threads suggested, but since Iriver plus does not actually know (and organise) whats on my player, I have songs on there that I deleted ages ago. Plus when I go to play songs that are on the player, it freezes after some beep noise.

Any help would be appreciated.

Smile I hope this helps

Hi, I had a similar problem and I fixed it. Firstly hook up the H10 to your PC and go into "My computer" - you can then access the H10 browser and cut all the music from it and paste it onto a folder on desktop ready for re- sync.
Now go to the folder on the desktop with all the music in it - and use windows Media Player to sync the songs onto the H10. I did this and it worked like new after several days of not initializing and doing wierd beeping. I now only sync my music onto the H10 via Media Player. Good Luck, I hope it works!!
