2 questions about H10
ok. i got me an H10 in June for my birthday, and i'm extremely happy with it, but i've got 2 questions..... if anyone could answer, that'd be great.
1. I use the SRS EQ because of the bass. but sometimes the bass overshadoes the lyrics, making the lyrics hard to hear. is there any other EQ that gives the same bass as the SRS but lets lyrics come through. should i adjust my settings? they're as follows. Field Width: 10 TruBass:10 FOCUS:10 Freq. Boost: 100Hz 2. is there any way to get rid of that space in between songs? i hate it. can you make the h10 preload the songs into its cache so that there's no reading times? thank you yall and rock on. |

Um I had the same problem with the bass with my stock headphones too, until I got myself a pair of Sennheiser PX100's. You'll find that it's just the headphones that suck. Get better headphones for better bass. About the gap there's no way to get round that unless you listen to a whole playlist in order. The gaps there when you first select a song then if you select the next song via fast forward button or menu, there should be no loading time as it is already saved into the memory from when you selected the first song. The memory can only hold about 3 songs I've found so you gotta just put up with the gap, it's not that long anyway. Maybe firmware can fix it?

Yes, adjust your settings.
I find the best sound with SRS on and the stock headphones is this: Field Width: 1 TruBass:1 FOCUS:3 Freq. Boost: 250Hz You might not think the same, but I don't like what SRS does much, so in the rare event that i'm actually using it, I prefer it to be as non-intrusive as possible.

oh... try adjusting the custom EQ setting in settings. With stock headphones I raised the 50 and 200 columns to get better bass but you might want to try raising the 3k and 14k columns. Alternatively you can try qupada's suggestion
