Have had mine since Christmas 2005 and it has worked pretty decently.

A month or two ago, the battery slowly started dying.
Also WMP stopped syncing to it(doesn't even work with 11) so that's really irritating.
Plus it doesn't have that many 'cool' features like the clix and d2 have.
Last it's pretty chunky, but not too big and has a good feel to it.

But still, I'm trying to get a replacement battery for mine then will try to sell and get D2, features > memory.

You do realize that the player is about 3 years older than either one you mentioned? It is like asking why a Boss Mustang doesnt have a CD player...

I'm quite happy with my H10 (20GB), after putting Rockbox on it (to add functionality the official firmware doesn't have) and replacing the battery (since the stock battery had gotten toasted from being overcharged and couldn't last more than 20 minutes in Rockbox and about 35-45 in the official firmware). Suffice to say what started out as a good player got better, then nearly died and was resurrected.

And for anyone who cares... finding replacement batteries for this thing is hard... I could only find one site that sold batteries for it. Then again, I may just be bad at searching...

I was happy with my h10, UMS 2.53 Korean Firmware. only the battery life was disappointing and that was the main fact why I have buyed a new device(x20).

I love it,
let's hope it works for a long time though because if the battery dies or something I'll just have to throw it out

Unfortunately, there is no UMS firmware for the 20GB version. You can just use the emergency connect feature (AKA "UMS Trick") to use it as a UMS player. You can then use EasyH10 to update your music database.

H10 How To Go From Folder to Folder

Hello,

I like my h10 but would like it more with help with the following:

I'm new to the h10. I have the 20 gig model. I have a main folder with many smaller folders within. I can't figure out how to make the player go from folder to folder automatically. I can get it to go from file to file within a folder but not from one folder to the next folder.

Can you advise?

joseph
