why redchair?

ok maybe im stupid....but i dont see why i should pay for red chairs software. I dont get it, seems to me that everything that i can do with red chair software can be done using my normal windows xp computer. Can someone please enlighten me?

Of course everything is up to the individual user. Does Red Chair offer something the others don't? Don't really know as I don't have the time to compare all options. My whole goal is to bring choices to iRiver users. Choices that up until a couple of months ago we did not have. Therefore, search around the forums and find the posts regarding Red Chair/Irivium and you'll get some insight into the workings of the software. I would also encourage you to go to the Red Chair site and take a look around as you will notice some nifty little tricks that Irivium does that Windows cannot.

i went to the red chair software, but i dont know why i should pay 30 dollars to "stream" my music from my ihp.......and as for explorer view...i do that by clicking on ihp drive from my computer. media monkey is really cool im liking it so far. Thanks for the quick reply, really appreciate it. CANT WAIT!!!!!!

That's the beauty of the whole thing... You don't have to pay but at least now you have a choice if you wish.
