Is there a reason why IP3 is seen as a Trojan

I need to install iRiver Plus 3 but AVG, the latest build - version 8, sees it as a threat in the form of Trojan horse. Does anybody have an explanation?

Either your file was downloaded from an infected source or AVG is showing a false positive (I think it is more the latter)
