4GB SD card woes, as well

Hi,

I'm having the same problem. I upgraded to the 1.05 firmware (not an easy task, as it turns out...) and began to get a bright white screen for 15-20 seconds, followed by black screen.

In my case, it turns out that pressing the 'ok' button brings up the player just fine, and the white screen is really hiding the initialization screen, not indicating a b0rked player. Does anyone know if this behaviour holds true for 2GB cards?

I'd like the extra space, but the white-screen is kind of annoying.

Can a bug report be filed on this? I haven't had much luck figuring out how to havigate the web pages to find support.

Normally >2GB SD cards (SD, MiniSD or MicroSD) are SDHC (SD High Capacity). It therefore follows that in order to read these SDHC cards, the card reader needs to support SDHC.

Since SDHC format cards have the same physical shape and form factor as the older format, this has caused considerable confusion for consumers.[1] [2] SDHC cards require an SDHC capable device firmware, generally not found with older devices.
Does the e100 support SDHC, or just SD?
