Iriver -H10 - Connections Problems

okay i found out the last hour this happens alot..

my iriver seems to not want to connect to my laptop..

i downloaded new managers from offical iriver site plus the new hardware and recovery tool..

when i turn it on it says System files missing... then if i put it into the ums mode it still does nothing my comptuter sometimes reconizes it as a usb storage device...

somtimes it comes up with usb connected and the flash drive folder is in my computer but my comp will freeze if i try clicking on it...

none of the programs ive found work so far wat could be the connection problem?

Arrow Emergency USB connection

If you have an 20GB H10, You can create an "emergency" usb connection. Turn the unit off. Connect it to your PC. activate the reset (push a thin paper clip in the small hole on top) Press and hold the o button (left button on front) while pressing the start button. When the unit starts, you should see a small line of white on black line of text that says emergency usb connection . . .. In a few seconds you will see the USB connection icon on your scree.
