Pockbox Playlists directory freeze the iRiver h140 Firmware

Hello,

I was trying the Rockbox firmware, all works fine.
At a moment I decided to go back to the iRiver (1.66EU) firmware (by simple deleting the rockbox.iriver file (or pressing Rec while booting) and surprise, the iRiver fails to boot, freezing on the Read File System screen.
I do a lot of research on this so called Read File System bug, but all tips were unsuccessfull.
So using the USB connection (thanks to Rockbox bootloader) I first empty all files (35 Gb) on the harddrive and then the iRiver firmware boots normally. Il then format, scandisk, reinstall Rockbox, and begin to reinstall my files alphabetically, checking periodically if the iRiver boots with iRiver firmware.
After having created the Playlists directory for Rockbox playlists, the iRiver stop to boot on ist own firmware.
If i delete this directory all works fine.

So it's not really a Rockbox bug, its rather a iRiver bug in the way as a directory named "Playlists" forbid the iRiver firmware to load. but it should be usefull that Rockbox change its playlist directory name in order both firmware works conveniently.

Rockbox playlist directory

I have to correct my assements:
After having work for a while like this (booting on iRiver firmware, no playlists directory), as soon as I reboot once with Rockbox firmware, this one creates a .playlistxxx file in the .rockbox directory.
Reboot and try to load iRiver firmware without success. this file .playlistxxx deleted (always thanks to the usb loader) the H140 reboot ok with iRiver and I could delete the rockbox.iriver file to boot directly on iRiver firmware

BUT, after a while, some 5 or 7 reboot without problem, my H140 refuses to start again, and I find the solution to boot by pressing Rec button until the boot is finished.

This Rec+play shortcut is in the Rockbox bootloader to allow to bypass Rockbox firmware.

In my opinion, all my problem therefore come from this bootloader, whether it is corrupted (how can it be I don't know, as this bootloader was since 3 month in the iRiver Eprom without any problem), whether it is bugged.

If anybody have any suggestion...
