When will Iriver release a new firmware for a h300 series?

Dont know what Febs is talking about, he is normally correct, but has missed out badly this time. Every few days there is new firmware for the H3xx range.

yeh I think rockbox is the only future developments we going to see on h3xx series, and thanks to the awesome guys that put their time into it, coz it just keeps getting better!

Actually the RB firmware (stored in non-volatile memory) is the bootloader, which hasn't been updated for a long time. The rest of the RB OS is loaded from disk at boot time.

Do I get a star for this?

I'll second Albino's comment - I actually can't imagine buying an MP3 player that's not RB-capable.
