I am guessing you downloaded them from somewhere like Napster to Go, and it came with DRM copy protection. If that is the case discussing how to bypass it is illegal in the U.S. where Misticriver is hosted. Google however is your friend.

But if this is not the case, then you can use any number of conversion programs, I think Foobar will do it. But you will lose quality....

There are none. By the very definitino, converting from one format to another, when both are lossy formats (WMA and MP3 are both lossy) means you lose quality.

The tracks might have been downloaded legally, but if you downloaded it through a subscription service and do not own the licence anymore (for various reasons- stopped paying the subscription, etc), removing the DRM preventing you from playing it is illegal.

Foobar will not be able to convert it if the file is DRM/copy-protected, and also (AFAIK) doesn't support WMA.

Did you get this foobar?

You need foobar2000...
http://www.foobar2000.org/

But as I said, if its WMA and you don't own the lisence anymore, you need to get googling.

This thread has no-one else to get, considering that discussion of removal of DRM is specifically prohibited by the Mistic River posting guidelines. Lowy, if you want help with Foobar2000 for anything other than removing DRM, please feel free to start another thread.
