Any news of the REAL firmware soon?
Early days but does anyone have any news about the real features that we wanted in this firmware? Iriver cant leaver it as it is as that would be seriously bad company practice.
Incremental firmware is what we want. You make something you add it, you fix something you add it. By clumping all the fixes and updates together you make people wait longer, and we all know the community gets grumpy then. Even status reports on a regular basis would help. Hows it going with alternate firmwares at this stage, made any progress?
