Question MTP to UMS?

heyy i'd really appreciate it if sum-one posted a link to somwhere where i could get a UMS firmware for an MTP iRiver t30 and also give me some info regarding the topic. are the new UMS firmwares for MTP versions really stable? and... can i drag and drop to store songs on an MTP-based player? some have responded saying i can, some say i cant (and that i can only use WM to transfer songs)...plz, help moi!

it is "converting" - after that, it is like you bought player in Asia/Australia - you can update it only by official UMS firmware... so there is no such thing as "stability issue"...

each new firmware has 2 versions - UMS and MTP - ther are identicall BUT with one of them player is seen as "audio device" and requires winXP+SP2+WMP10, and with another as normal "disc" with any OS...

and yes - you can drag-n-drop songs with MTP player - it is still seen in "My Computer" as an "audio device"... WMP10 is required, but if you wish, you can never use it (it just "needs to be")

thanks khron. i would never have imagined there would be a site like that - just dedicated to MTP-UMS?? wow...then again only for the T-series flash players. well who cares anyways...its all good for me
