alternative ihp-1xx firmware project
the release of iriver's laughable new firmware "release" should remind everyone how important the alternative firmware project is.

alexandre bourget kindly setup a wiki website for the project here:

anyone with embedded systems design experience is encouraged to join...
anyone who can host cvs and/or mailinglist and ftp is also requested.

This is great!

Just what I have been waiting for.

I will be keeping a close eye on the site. Unfortunately I don't have any technical know-how that I can share. But I am very interested in this progress.

I hope we can get the rockbox boys in in this!
