Nothing extraordinary to report. I spoke with my contact at iRiver America. He tells me that they don't even receive the new firmware release much before the public release date. Therefore I don't have any set dates for a release. As soon as I find out I'll let everyone know.

Almost forgot. Those of you who come straight to the forums would miss the news post on the front page about the Irivium Explorer update so here it is:

Explorer 8.5.4</a> for the iHP-100, 120, and 140.</p>

<p>Just one week after the initial release of Irivium, we're

can expect many more new releases in the coming weeks and

<p>This release features major enhancements to SpeedSync,
and new tag writeback capability, a feature to help you find
