iSkin Update!!!

Received an exciting update from iSkin today. Here's a summary.

- Final Touches happening as we speak
- Fit is excellent
- The "look" is excellent
- Targeting the 1st or 2nd week of Sept. to take online orders. (please remember that these are tentative and subject to change)

And living up to their great reputation, iSkin has asked for input from members of MisticRiver. iSkin would like to initially release approx. 5 colors of cases and then expand that to a full range once production increases.

The current EVO line of cases offers the following colors:


I will pass along the top 5 color choices to iSkin. In order to keep it organized, I will only accept your input in the following fashion:

Choice in order of preference:
1. Ebony
2. Carbon
3. Blush
4. Sonic
5. Arctic

If there is a color that you wish to include in your list and you don't see it, then just write it down, for example:
1. Green
2. Red
etc...

I'd like to see some great participation folks...

Whoa! Great news Jeff! Final touches already! Ooh, this is exciting. I definately would like to see a Purple iSkin, or 'Vamp' as it is called there, although I do like ebony too.

A little hard to tell how the partially transparent colors will look on a black H-series but my preferences are as follows:

1) Sonic
2) Carbon
3) Ghost
4) Lava
5) Vamp

I would love to see a deep candy-apple red color.
I can take a pass on the blush, unless my girlfriend wants an H120.

I can't wait!!

I can't wait to order an iSkin!!! I hope they can release earlier than expected..... because brown fugly really needs to be retired, mainly because school starts up on the 30th and I want to be sporting a 'stylishly' colored DAP within the first few weeks of class (as opposed to fugly).

Jeff, IMO, I think as far as the line-up goes for the iHP's, the iSkin's would look much better being more opaque than transparent. An underlying black isn't healthy for the colors...... as the white on an iPod doesn't have much effect.

I don't know what others opinions are with this, but black and a transparent skin could look tacky (use the original rubberkey skin for a good tacky example).

EDIT - I guess the Champagne 120's are a different story.
