iFP firmware almost on time=> Hseries?

In the Firmware Schedule post of 27July in which they promise new H-series firmware upgrade for "End of July~Early August" iriver also claimed: "iFP-100/300/500 Series UMS version (Expected at the end of July)". It was released today (August 6th). Not too far off! Lets hope this bodes well for the H-series firmware too. I know these sound like the words of a man in desperation... but you've got to hope!!!

iMP firmwares next in line

well they weren't late.... it was released on time at iriver korea but it takes a while for it to appear in the international site... so i would recommend you go check iriver korea FIRST and use their firmware... it doesn't affect your player you just have to switch the menu back to english instead of korea. the iMP and the iFP were expected to be released the end of july and it did, AT THE KOREAN SITE. because iriver is a korean you get the point!

checked korean site and there is H120/140 firmware v1.50N

and will it convert to english?

no that is not it - that has been there for awhile - some kind of beta but doesn't have the important things (gapless etc). As far a i know, it will convert to english if you manage to get to language setup in options. Can anyone confirm this. I know people download from the korean site all the time so it is doable.
