e10 White Screen Problem

Hey guys,

I had my e10 for over a year now, no problems what so ever.

Until today when I turned on my e10 mp3 player and it was with a complete white screen.

It plays the songs. And the computer even detects it.

It shows up with a white screen nothing else.

I think my warranty is over, since I had it around September 2006

I noticed it happened to a few other users here in the forum.

What ya guys reckon I should do ?

I even tried resetting it a few times, but it stayed the same with the white screen

Try backup everything and do a initialization in iriver plus 2/3 and see if anything happens. You need to backup themes, music, pictures, games, video and recordings. I don't think theres anything more you have to backup. If so, feel free to say it so he won't loose some content. And of course you move other files you have (if you store other files on your E10)

Then it sounds like a hardware problem, maybe the cable to the screen inside has slipped out? You can check, since this probably voids the warranty. I suggest you send it in (or going to the store where you bought it) and ask if they could have a look at it and see if anything is wrong...
