I just bought a E10 and I'm really enjoying this lil player.
I was looking at a D2 but it was almost double the price of the E10 so instead I bought a PSP for video and use the E10 for music. only bad part is that I can't put in album art with OGG files so I'm using WMA and it works fine. My criteria was that the player must be able to use Windows 2000, there's not many players that allows this in the US. and if there are they don't have OGG support. |

It's a good player, cause it has so many features, but one thing I do not like about it is the design. It's so bland. But if that's okay for you then it's fine. Also the screen is too small, e10 plays video but it's not suited for watching long clips.

I think the e10 is a great player, as long as you can live with the below-par video playback. If you are going to use the player purely for music, its one of the better players on the market. Have you checked out the clix2? I haven't got one, but it certainly looks desirable, and I've heard nothing but good things about it.

I have bought 2 E10's in the last 3 months for the kids and they love them. The video isn't that bad, I just wouldn't want to watch it for an entire movie. The other great thing about them is that just about anyone can figure out how to use it, my 5 y.o. and my mother-in-law both can navigate the menus to find what they want. On top of all this the battery lasts well, my 13 y.o. daughter only has to charge hers every 4-5 days. The only negative I can think of is that I can't use it while it's charging, but they've gotten used to hooking it up to charge before bed and so it's not that big of a problem.

We have 2 as I stated above and haven't had any problems with them, one primarily used by a 5 y.o. the other is 14 now. I think as far as regular use goes if they haven't broke them, most people won't. The other GREAT thing about them, I wasn't even thinking about it when I ordered, was the remote, you have no idea how handy that thing is when you lose the one for the TV and don't feel like searching the couch cushions...........
