Hissing when using Custom EQ

Does anyone else have this problem?

I have had a bit of a play with mine and noticed no abnormal hiss, there are a couple of possibilities, if you are playing an audio file with a low sound level, then you would have to turn the volume up to hear it at a suitable volume, you may hear some hiss, also the Custom EQ does give you some control, does the hiss change much when you adjust the highest frequency (14K) as the high frequency control will make it more or less noticable.
