Listing of non-existent tracks...
hello, my first post, big woop.
the problem i have is that after killing myself to operate iriver plus 2, i somehow ended up with multiple copies of a few tracks on the iriver. some of these i definitely did *not* actually load, the e10 seems to have copied the listing of the tracks so that the album track list is like this: track one track one track one track two track three and then so on normally. thing is, it does repeat those tracks, but when i look at it on iriver, it only displays one copy of track on. the upshot of it is, i am now unable to delete this album, because even if i get rid of the whole album via iriverplus2, the two extra ones remain on the player, but don't appear when i look at the player via iriverplus2. also sometime when i play those funny ghost tracks (and a couple of others) the display goes a bit funny, and instead of letters it shows those empty boxes like when word doesn't recognise a font. it doesn't make it unusable, it's just annoying for purists like me. i also like to be able to get rid of certain albums and i can't. is anyone else having the same problem? or just me? and any ideas on what it is or how to fix it? i haven't updated the firmware yet, because i didn't get it long ago, it's possible that this glitch has already been covered. thanks |
