Hey there
I'm an iriver 'old timer' having owned an H140 and an H340. Both have had long illustrious lives travelling the globe with me but now both are dead and functioning only as paperweights. So I got me a new e10 player and am very happy with it... well almost... I cannot believe iriver have gone down the messed up ipod route, using stupid software 'iriver plus 2' to upload tracks and create a database. I started using this but quickly ditched it and just loaded tracks using explorer drag 'n' drop, and then on the the e10, using browse device, play my albums. What I would like to know is if anyone has worked out how to create playlists, or some other way of creating a database on the iriver, without using 'iriver plus 2' ?? I'm trying to find a better way than using 'browse device', as this stops playing an album once its finished, and I can't see a way to keep it playing through the albums on the drive, as the antique Hxxx series used to do quite happily ! So come on people - lets get creative and find a way to crack this mutha f**ka !! Also interested in themes and stuff so please get in touch if you have anything that isn't rock oriented or in korean. Peace n love T

You can use iriver 3 to update your database. Which mean by using drag and drop and updating your database through iriver3, ur song will go in the harddrive and you do not need to use browse device anymore.

Iriver Plus 3 is much better - especially the "update database" funtion. Now we can kep our music arranged how WE like it, and not under artist name like the dreaded and evil IPOD disease...
thanks responders... Mr T. (I ain't gettin on no plane!)

yeh dude, find a way to edit that database if you can, it would be easier to change genre for an entire section rather than changing the ID3 Tags.
I'd owe you bigtime ! Mr T (shutup fool)
