a tough E10 question. its the first time i heard of it
hi
im thinking on getting an E10 and i have a question im not sure about that my friend brought up in discussion. does the E10 have the capability to show the date of voice recordings..?I haven't found an mp3 player that can do this. for example, after you have done the recording and synchronise to the computer does it say corresponding to the number the date the item was recorded?? All voice recorders have this feature. My friend said that I may have to set the time and date on the unit first before trying this.. he said If you can't see the time and date on the screen then it probably won't do it.. what do you guys think? i dont have an e10 in my hand so im hoping a current user can help me thanks! |

The answer is yes. Once you set the date and time on the E10 this will correspond to the actual file name.
For example. Today is the 11th July 2006. I just made the first voice recording on the E10. The file name is >> VOICE060711_001 = VOICE RECORDING 2006, JULY, 11th RECORDING NUMBER 1 |

LOL. I agree. Machines sare getting better but they do need to be told certain things
bass thumper > Make sure you understand that the E10 is currently a UMS device meaning you need to use irver plus 2 / 3 to manage playlists. Currently WMP isn't supported (firmware update planned for November) For WMP you need an MTP verion of firmware. Just thought this might be useful to know incase you wasn't aware. Cheers |

Used iRiverPlus 2 and am using iRiverPlus 3. They are sort of like iTunes, but different in some ways. It may be a little frustrating at first, but once you get the hang of it, u'll love it

Yes bassthumper it is similar. IMHO not as good a product as itunes or WMP. The good thing with using plus 3 is it will convert videos to the E10 format. This means you don't need to use a 3rd party solution to get video onto the E10. It also converts pictures into the 128 * 128 format for you. Version 3 is officially only available in Korea at the moment but a Worldwide release hopefully be too far in the future.
Cheers mate |
