Question E10 Video converting problems

Hi guys,

I have recently purchased the new E10 and had troubles with it recognising .mpg and .avi files. I have just downloaded installed the Badak and preset files and tried converting a few different vid clips I have. the E10 still was not able to read the files. Do I need specific settings to convert my .mpg files to the compatible .avi files (as this is not mentioned on the badak.info page) I have tried 3 different files now and all dont play on the E10. Get 'incompatible file' message on the E10. Am I doing something wrong?
thx

Hi mate

I can't offer much help other than I downloaded the badak and preset and it worked sweet. The preset I used was high quality Vid & high quality audio. The originals I converted were between 100 - 200 meg and encoded in XVID. What codec were your originals encoded in?

Are they MPEG1 or MPEG2?

What type of AVI file? As there are at least a dozen different AVI codecs, with DivX and Xvid now the most popular.
