Australian E10
Hi guys.
I wonder if someone can help me understand what is happening. I bought an Iriver E10 and it shipped with irver plus 2. I don't like this software and tried to use WMP 11. It appeared to work (WMP saw the player and I set up my sync list). The wma files got copied to the E10 with no drama as expected. However when I browse Artist/Genrea etc on the E10 nothing is visible. It's like the E10 can't see the files. If I use the browse feature of the E10 I can locate the folders WMP uploaded to the player. I can then play the music with no drama. Why can't the player see the music that is uploaded through WMP? It seems strange that the WMA files reside in the same place that the iriver software places them. Thanks for help in the matter p.s The E10 appears as a removable disk in my computer. p.ps I notice the is a firmware update planned for E10 in November www.iriver.com/mtp Is that what I am needing? in order to properly connect with WMP 11, yes you need to wait for that firmware update in november (WMP is a MTP program)
