Upgraded HD from eBay broken Ipod and..
I want to know from any of you who got a broken Ipod from eBay to use its harddrive for upgrading your Irivers.

I didnt get a broken ipod, but i got an ipods hard drive. It didnt work with my H140 no matter how i manipulated it with Swissknife. The drive does work though, so it is now just a portable storage device housed in a USB enclosure.

I have a copy of partition majic in the house. I really dont see what difference it will make though, as Swissknife can do a full format in primary partition no problem. Just seems not to work with the H140.
