Upgrading the HD on a H10 (20GB version)

Does the 20GB H10 use the same size hard drive as the H120 and H320? I'd imagine it does, since I don't think there are any 20GB drives a size smaller.

Since rockbox is now on the H10, I was considering getting one, putting a larger HD in (30GB or maybe one of the larger 40GB ones, if they've been released), then sticking rockbox on it.

I'll definitely do this if my H120 ever busts and I have enough money. But only if the H10s HD can be replaced. 20GB isn't really enough for me. 40GB would be cool.

If I can't, I'd probably get an iaudio. The main reason I would go for the H10 is the size though. As long as it can play ogg with rockbox and can have a larger HD, it's better in my opinion and the total price would probably be less than any mp3 player that comes with a 40GB HD.

Are you sure?
The 20Gb H10 is only milimetres smaller than the H320, if that.

I mean, the 5 and 6Gb versions definitely use smaller HDDs but I'm pretty certain the 20Gb version must use a 1.8" single-platter drive like the H320s and iHp-120s before it.

From what people have posted, it should be theoretically possible, if you make sure you have a single platter drive. Most of the higher capacity drives (40+) are dual platter, as it is cheaper (think 2 sticks of 256mb or 1 stick of 512mb for ram).
